UC Transfer Application Guarantee (TAG)
What is a UC TAG?
A University of California (UC) Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG) is an agreement which provides guaranteed admission to California Community College students who meet and fulfil specific requirements. Students can apply to one UC campus per academic year. Students who are not eligible for TAG can still apply through the regular admission process.
- Create a UC Transfer Admission Planner (TAP) account early in your academic career to enter and track your academic progress towards meeting UC minimum requirements.
- Find assistance from your college counselor, academic advisor, career and transfer center, and a UC campus TAG adviser. Utilize transcripts and grade reports.
- After the TAP completion a TAG application can begin.
